We grieve the violence of White supremacy culture which pervades the institutions of this country - from our schools to our policing to our families to our churches. We speak out against the militarized response of police and government in response to a growing movement for the protection and sanctity of Black lives.
We ask our DPF supporters to stand for liberation in every way possible, including learning from, listening to, and supporting Black-led movements, thinkers, leaders, and organizations. Now is the time to show up and stay present.
